Professional Insertion Office (GIP)

The Professional Insertion Office aims to support unemployed young people and adults in defining/developing their path of insertion or reintegration into the labor market, in close cooperation with the Vila Real Employment Center.

SERVICES PROVIDED

The GIP can carry out the following activities:

• Professional information for unemployed youth and adults;

• Support for active job search;

• Personalized monitoring of unemployed people in the phase of professional insertion or reinsertion;

• Capture of offers from employers;

• Disclosure of job offers and placement of unemployed people in the available and appropriate offers;

• Referral to qualifying offers;

• Dissemination and referral to measures to support employment, qualification and entrepreneurship;

• Motivation and support for participation in temporary occupations or activities on a voluntary basis, which facilitate entry into the labor market;

• Other activities considered necessary for the unemployed registered with the Employment Centre.

OPENING HOURS

The GIP is open from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, with a lunch break, from 1 pm to 2 pm.

SERVICE HOURS

Office hours are on the following days of the week:

• Mondays, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm;

• Thursday, from 2 pm to 5.30 pm;

• Friday, from 9.30 am to 1 pm.
