Local Volunteer Bank

The objective of the Local Volunteer Bank is to promote and develop volunteer work in its area of ​​intervention, in cooperation with the promoting organizations. It is developed through projects and programs where volunteers play an active role in its execution.

Volunteering is a free and voluntary decision supported by personal motivations and options that characterize the volunteer.

SERVICES PROVIDED

The Local Volunteer Bank develops the following activities:

• Raise awareness among citizens about volunteering, publicizing projects and volunteering opportunities

• Receive applications from people interested in volunteering, selecting them through an interview

• Accept registrations from entities promoting volunteer work

• Check the profile of the candidate to volunteer

• Refer volunteers according to the characteristics of the activity to be developed

• Strive to ensure that the promoting entities comply with the legal obligations arising from the activity developed

• Collecting information that allows for the production of diagnoses of the local characterization of the volunteer activity.

OPENING HOURS

The Local Volunteer Bank is open from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5.30 pm.

SERVICE HOURS

Office hours are on the following days of the week:

• Mondays, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm;

• Thursday, from 2 pm to 5.30 pm;

• Friday, from 9.30 am to 1 pm.
