Day Center (CD)

The Day Center aims to respond to elderly people at risk or loss of independence for a temporary or permanent period, contributing to a dignified, comfortable and healthy life, providing direct help to the elderly and indirect help to the family and/or community.

This is an area whose services are aimed at seniors of both sexes, from 65 years of age and, exceptionally, of other ages when their physical and mental health so warrants.

SERVICES PROVIDED

In this valence, the following services are provided:

• food

• clothing treatment

• personal hygiene

• animation activities

• Provision of information that facilitates access to community services appropriate to the satisfaction of users

• Psychosocial support

• Transport and monitoring of users to health centers in the municipality

• Acquisition of foodstuffs

OPENING HOURS

The Day Center service operates every day, including holidays and weekends, from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm.

SERVICE HOURS

Opening hours are from Monday to Friday (except holidays), from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
